Successfully Funding Your School Musical

In order to get any funding from your school, you'll have to share your plan and ideas with admin so creating a project proposal ahead of time will get your ideas organized and allow admin to see your vision for the musical.

Fundraising is a great way to raise money for your musical. Whether it's an idea you have that you put on in school or there's an organization with a great fundraiser; find one that is the best fit for your community that you know they would want to contribute to.

There are thrift stores, consignment stores and local business' that would love to donate to a cause or event like a school musical. Call around, get official letters with your school letterhead and see how your community will come together for you!

Nine times out of ten, parent council has funding for school wide events. Your school musical is a school wide event so forward your proposal their way and see how much they are willing to send you. You might even get some parent volunteers out of it!
